Join us for a review of the Watertown Lab Registration Permit application in advance of the September 30 renewal deadline. This permit applies to all research facilities in Watertown with hazardous materials including flammables, cryogenics, and compressed gases, as well as certified ventilation equipment such as fume hoods and biosafety cabinets. We will cover the different required hazardous materials reports as well as some tips for lab inspection preparation.
Bio: Shavana Ohneswere is the Director of Safety Resources at Spotlight Safety. She worked in microbiology prior to receiving an MS in Work Environment from UMass Lowell in 2017. She has supported safety programs at research institutions, biotechnology companies, and manufacturing facilities.
